Characterization of mesenchymal stem cells. (A) The trilineage differentiation potential of the mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) cultured on adipogenic, osteogenic, and chondrogenic media or ±100 μM H2O2 was assessed with oil red O, alizarin red, and toluidine blue staining, respectively. (B) The MSCs isolated from rat bone marrow were culture expanded, and the percentage of positive cells expressing cKit, CD34, CD45, CD73, CD90, and CD105 was determined with flow analysis.
