Anti-tumor effect of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells in vitro ( n  = 6). Carboxy-fluorescein diacetate succinimidyl ester (CFSE)-labeled B16-F10 and H22 cells (2 × 105 cells) were cultured either alone or in the presence of 2 × 105 syngeneic bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (BMSCs) or NIH-3T3 cells. Forty-eight hours after cultivation, the entire cell populations from individual culture or co-culture systems were harvested and the total number of CFSE+ tumor cells was calculated using flow cytometry.
