Improvement in pluripotency of GHPES-3 after ascorbic acid treatment. (A) Paternally expressed genes were up-regulated in GHPES-3 at passage 5 and 10. (B) No differences were observed for maternally expressed genes in GHPES-3 at passages 0, 3, 5 and 10. (C) Rate of teratoma formation was increased in GHPES-3 at passages 5 and 10. No differences in methylation modification of IG-DMR and MEG3-DMR in GHPES-3 were detected at passages 0 (D), 3 (E), 5 (F) and 10 (G). Different letters indicate significant differences among data (P <0.05) while the same letters are used to signify no differences (P >0.05). IG-DMR intergenic differentially methylated region.
