Jagged1 mediates the communication between Wnt and Notch pathways within wound repair. Representative immunoblot and results of densitometric analysis of blots showed relative levels of Wnt and Notch signaling components from recombinant human nuclear factor-kappa-B (rhNF-κB) and N-[N-(3,5-difluorophenacetyl)-L-alanyl]-S-phenylglycine t-butyl ester (DAPT)-treated and control mice at the indicated post-wounding time points. The detailed analysis indicated a significant increase in the expression of Jagged1 with a marked decrease in the expression of Notch1 and Hes1, whereas the components of Wnt signaling presented a pronounced increase in expression following the expression of Jagged1. *P < 0.01, **P < 0.05 compared with the control value (n = 5)
