Endotoxemia modulates expression of Jagged-1, a Notch-1 ligand on the bone marrow endothelial cells. Twelve hours after injection of LPS (40 μg), murine femurs were crushed and digested with collagenase II, and then cells were stained with anti-mouse CD45, anti-mouse CD31, and anti-mouse Jagged-1 antibodies.
