MSC treatment enhances filament density in astrocytic endfeet in LPS-induced animals. In GFAP and TL a or in AQP-4 and CD31 b double staining, astrocytic filaments and endfeet were sparsely distributed in the SN of LPS-treated animals. On the other hand, MSC treatment markedly increased the density of astrocytic filaments around vessels a as well as astrocytic endfeet b in LPS-treated animals. Scale bar: 20 μm.
