Western blot assay of doxycycline-regulated FTH1 expression. a Dox dose-dependent FTH1 expression: C3H10T1/2-FTH1 cells were cultured in medium containing Dox at different concentrations for 72 h. With increasing Dox concentration, the FTH1 expression level increased, peaked at a Dox concentration 0.2 μg/ml, and then decreased at higher Dox concentrations. FTH1 expression was completely repressed at a Dox concentration of 6 μg/ml. b Time-dependent FTH1 expression: C3H10T1/2-FTH1 cells were cultured in medium containing Dox (0.2 μg/ml) for different durations. With increasing time, the FTH1 expression level increased gradually to its peak at 72 h and then decreased gradually. FTH1 ferritin heavy chain, Dox doxycycline
