Analysis of chondrogenic protein expression for neocartilage formation in the specimens. The specimens were transplanted into nude mice. Specimens 1 and 2 months post transplantation: a chondrocyte–coral composites; b chondrocytes and MSCs coseeded into natural coral scaffolds in a ratio of 1:1; c MSC–coral composites; and d T-MSC–coral composites. Specimens were processed to analyze the distribution of Col II (green) and Chm-1 (green) in cells by immunofluorescence (Color figure online)
