Methylation detection of rDNA promoter regions. rDNA methylation levels of two donor cells (MEFs and S-MEFs), pre-iPSCs (D6 MEFs and S-D6 MEFs), iPSCs (A1), S-iPSCs (B3), and R1 ESCs were evaluated. 5′-ETS (81–527) of the rDNA gene was chosen as the target sequence to evaluate the rDNA methylation levels. The methylated cytosines were counted and compared.
