Addition of the nitric oxide scavenger c-PTIO abolishes sodium nitroprusside (SNP)-mediated upregulation of CD34 expression. Sort-purified LSK-CD34− cells were exposed to 200 μM SNP for 12 h with or without the addition of 100 μM c-PTIO.
