Leucocyte infiltration in colon cross sections. Sections of the guinea-pig distal colon were labelled with pan-leucocyte marker anti-CD45 to observe the effects of MSC treatments on leucocyte infiltration. CD45-IR leucocytes were visualized within the mucosa and muscular layers of distal colon sections from guinea-pigs collected at 72 hours post induction of colitis (a-e). Scale bars = 100 μm.
