WJ-MSC-apelin infusion significantly improved hyperglycemia in T2D rats. Blood glucose level was determined consecutively up to 42 days in alert, fasted rats using a glucometer ACCU-CHEK Advantage Meter. The levels of blood glucose were improved gradually but significantly after 7 days in WJ-MSC-apelin infusion, but not in saline infusion T2D rats. n = 10 rats per group. *P < 0.05 and **P < 0.01.
