Administration of primed Wharton’s jelly-derived mesenchymal stem cells (WJ-MSCs) significantly decreases immune cell infiltration in mice with Aspergillus fumigatus (Af)-induced atopic dermatitis (AD). Immune cells were examined at lesion and/or injected sites. Numbers of a neutrophils, b mast cells, c eosinophils and d lymphocytes were counted under a microscope. Data are presented as the mean ± SEM (N = 6 per group). ***, p < 0.0005 compared with the control group; #, p < 0.05; ##, p < 0.005; ###, p < 0.0005 compared with the AD group; †, p < 0.05; ††, p < 0.005; †††, p < 0.0005 compared with the group injected with non-primed WJ-MSCs.
