The effect of WGA fractionated HS on PL-MSC (a) and UC-MSC (b) proliferation. MSCs were cultured in DMEM+ 5% serum supplemented with either WGA binding proteins or non-WGA binding proteins. The > 100 kDa HS served as a control. The cells were harvested at days 3, 5, 7, and 10 to determine the cell numbers.
