Secretome of hESC-CMs and hiPSC-MSCs promotes neovascularization in vitro. a Tube formation assay was performed with human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs) treated with Dulbecco’s modified Eagle’s medium (DMEM) or the conditioned medium (CdM) from hESC-CMs (two cell lines) and hiPSC-MSCs (two cell lines) (bar = 50 μm). b The tube length was analyzed among the different groups. Compared with DMEM, tube length was increased in HUVECs cultured with CdM from hiPSC-MSCs and hESC-CMs as well as dramatically increased by interferon-γ (IFN-γ) stimulation. Moreover, the tube length was much longer in CdM from hiPSC-MSCs than CdM from hESC-CMs with and without IFN-γ stimulation (P < 0.05 using one-way ANOVA with Bonferroni post hoc test)
