In vitro characterization and differentiation of MVSCs isolated from rat aorta. a MVSCs were isolated from the aorta of GFP rats by using a tissue explant culture method, expanded, and stained for Sox10, Sox17, and Ki67. b MVSCs were stained for vascular cell markers α-SMA, CNN1, and CD31. c MVSCs were differentiated into peripheral neurons (Peripherin+) and Schwann cells (S100β+) in vitro.
