From: Treatment of vocal fold scarring with autologous bone marrow-derived human mesenchymal stromal cells—first phase I/II human clinical study

Inclusion criteria

 Severe hoarseness, vocal fatigue

 Vocal fold scarring

 No active other treatment

 Age above 18 years

Exclusion criteria

 Active treatment of laryngeal disorder

 Active inflammatory condition of the larynx or laryngeal papilloma

 Diagnosed or suspicions of local malignancy

 No female patient was pregnant and all patients were negative for HIV, HBV, HCV, HTLV, syphilis, and lues
