CB-ECFCs survive in ischemic environment. Fifteen minutes after ischemia (top and bottom panels) induced by thermal cauterization, PBS (top panels) or 5.105 CB-ECFCs-mCherry+ (middle and bottom panels) were injected. Five, 19, and 26 days after treatment, dextran-FITC was injected by IV to reveal mouse vascular network. Scale bars represent 500 μm. Representative images of 4 mice per group are shown
