Scheme of MSCs inhibited the differentiation of MDSCs in SS. MDSCs and PMN-MDSCs increased and M-MDSCs decreased significantly in NOD mice with sialadenitis. MSCs ameliorated SS-like syndrome by suppressing the differentiation of MDSCs, PMN-MDSCs, and M-MDSCs via COX2/PGE2 and IFN-β. MSCs rectified the imbalance of PMN-MDSCs and M-MDSCs. And MSCs promoted the suppressive ability by improving the immature or undifferentiated phenotype and increased the Arg-1, gp91phox, and iNOS expression in MDSCs of NOD mice
