5FU sensitivity of various GBM cell lines. Quadruplicates of a U-251MG, b U-87MG and c patient-derived GBM cell lines (2500 cells) were plated. One day later, culture media were replaced with DMEM supplemented with 2% FBS and 5FU (0–100 μg/mL). Cell viability was determined using MTS assay 5 days later. The percentage of cell viability was calculated with no treatment controls set at 100%.
