Effects of surfactant and hUC-MSCs on the survival rate on postnatal day 14. All the rats reared in RA and treated with NS or surfactant survived. The rats reared in hyperoxia and treated with NS exhibited a significantly lower survival rate than did those reared in RA and treated with NS or surfactant. Treatment with surfactant and treatment with surfactant and hUC-MSCs augmented the hyperoxia-induced decrease in the survival rate, but the differences in survival rate were not statistically significant.
