Animal surgical procedures. From the left to the right showed the procedures of animal surgery. After general anesthesia, a cylindrical defect of 2.5 mm in width and 1.0 mm in depth was made on the center of the trochlea and filled with GelMA gelatine with or without SrR-loaded nanospheres. After curved the materials with UV light, we carefully sutured every layer of the tissues, and animals were fed under normal condition for 3 months after surgery
