Testicular sections of aged (>12 months old) mice neonatally exposed to DES (a–h). The testes showed big tumor-like growth (a–d) and in few mice it appeared atrophied (e–h). There were no signs of spermatogenesis. Well-defined seminiferous tubules were lacking and proliferation of undifferentiated GCNIS-like atypical, enlarged cells (h, arrows) with big nuclei was observed (e–h) at places. Scale: 20 μm
