After intramuscular injection of exosomes in patients with myocardial infarction, the improvement of LVEF in the exosome treatment group was significantly higher than in the control group (P = 0.000). Compared with the control group, the LVEF of the exosome-treatment group was not significantly improved after intravenous injection of exosomes (P = 0.061)
