OSMRregulated osteogenic differentiation via ERK/autophagy signaling. ST2 cells were transfected with Osmr siRNA or control siRNA, followed by U0126 or vehicle treatment for 24 h. The levels of the proteins indicating the activation of ERK and autophagy were examined (A). Osmr loss-of-function experiments were performed in ST2 cells treated with U0126 or chloroquine. ALP staining of differentiated osteoblasts was done 14 days after osteogenic treatment (B). The mRNA (C) and protein (D) levels of osteogenic factors were examined 72 h after osteogenic treatment.
