Heated medium was added to the wells in which human mesenchymal stem cells were cultured. The cells were kept on a hotplate at 37°C to replicate core body temperature. A hot probe was dipped into the medium to maintain the desired temperature. The medium was removed immediately once the desired time period had elapsed.
