Signaling in muscle-derived mesenchymal stem/stromal cell (mMSCs). mMSCs were plated on laminin (LAM) or collagen (COL) and were either exposed to mechanical strain or remained unstrained. mMSCs were harvested and activation of focal adhesion kinase (FAK) was determined at 3 hours (A) and 24 hours (B) post-strain. Activation of nuclear factor-kappa B (NF-κB) was also analyzed at 3 hours (C) and 24 hours (D) post-strain. Representative images are shown above each respective blot.
