Myoblast proliferation after treatment with muscle-derived mesenchymal stem/stromal cell (mMSC) conditioned media. mMSCs were plated on laminin (LAM) or collagen (COL) and were either exposed to mechanical strain or remained unstrained. The quantity of primary myoblasts treated with conditioned media for 24 hours (A) or 48 hours (B) was determined by MTT assay. Data are presented as mean ± standard error of the mean of fold change relative to myoblasts treated with serum-free media for the same amount of time. *P <0.05 versus Lam/No Strain. **P <0.01 versus LAM with n = 6 per group for the 24-hour time point and n = 7 per group for the 48-hour time point.
