Dose-dependent effect of E-4031 (•) and verapamil (♦) on duration of the QT interval of differentiated MC-Sp cardiomyocytes using the QTempo assay (conducted by ReproCELL Inc., Kanagawa, Japan). Increase in E-4031 concentration from 10 to 300 nM results in prolongation of the QT interval by 40%, while increase in verapamil concentration from 10 nM to 3 μM results in reduction of the QT interval by 56%. MC-Sp, human embryonic stem cell/microcarrier aggregates in spinner cultures.
