TβRI and α-SMA of fibroblasts were downregulated by mesenchymal stem cells in a p53-dependent manner. Fibroblasts derived from rabbit ear hypertrophic scar were treated with or without conditioned medium from control shRNA mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) or p53 shRNA MSCs for 48 hours. The (A) mRNA and (B,C) protein levels of TβRI and α-SMA were determined by real-time PCR and western blot. n = 3, *P <0.05 vs. untreated group, p53 shRNA group.
