Inflammatory reaction at the lesion site. Comparison of IL-1β, IL-6 and TNF-α levels at the site of injury in the SHAM, NaCl and SVF groups, two weeks post-injury, indicated that the level of inflammation was higher in the NaCl group compared to the two other groups. Data also indicated that the inflammatory reaction was reduced in the SVF group, for the IL-6.
