(C) The gene expression levels of drug-metabolizing enzymes (CYP3A4, UGT1A1), intestinal markers (CDX2, VIL, EPCAM) and a mesenchymal cell marker (VIM) were examined in human iPS cells, ELCs, pre-ELC-org, ELC-org, and the human small intestine by qRT-PCR. The GAPDH expression level was taken as 1.0. Data represent the mean ± S.D. (n = 3, biological replicates). Statistical significance was evaluated by one-way ANOVA followed by Tukey’s post hoc test. Groups that do not share the same letter had significantly different results (p < 0.05)
