In vitro differentiation of hNPCs into immature and mature neurons. hWJ-MSC CM collected from hypoxic (Hypo) and normoxic (Norm) conditions was able to significantly support and induce neuronal differentiation of hNPCs into b,c immature (DCX+ cells) and e,f mature (Map-2+ cells) neurons when compared to control conditions (a,d). From g,h cell count analysis it was clearly evident the significant increase of DCX+ and Map-2+ cell densities in both hWJ-MSC CM (from normoxic and hypoxic conditions) when compared to the control group (values are shown as mean ± SEM. **p < 0.01).
