Seeding on small intestinal submucosa (SIS) extracellular matrix (ECM) or culture plastic does not affect cell growth rates. Human mesenchymal stromal cells (hMSCs) from donor 1 overexpressing enhanced green fluorescent protein (GFP) were seeded onto SIS ECM or tissue culture plastic and relative fluorescence intensity was measured after 24, 48 and 72 hours postseeding.
