Cardiac function improvement after cell transplantation. a, b Left ventricle ejection fraction (LVEF), left ventricular internal diameter in end-diastole (LVIDd) and end-systole (LVIDs) values were measured by echo at baseline and 1 week, 2 weeks and 4 weeks post-MI among the three groups. Cardiac function was only improved significantly in the iPS-CM groups compared with the MI group at 4 weeks after cell transplantation. c, d Maximal positive and negative pressure derivatives (±dP/dt) were assessed by invasive haemodynamic measurement and showed significant improvement in the iPS-CM groups compared with the MI group at 4 weeks after cell transplantation
