Proposed mechanisms involved in ASC modulation of B cell regulation in allotransplantation. ASCs combined with short-term immunosuppressants prolong allotransplant survival by modulating B cell proliferation, enhancing Breg expression, and modulating the secretion of related cytokines such as IL-10 and TGF-β1, resulting in the prolongation of allotransplant survival and the induction of immune tolerance.
