From: hPMSCs inhibit the expression of PD-1 in CD4+IL-10+ T cells and mitigate liver damage in a GVHD mouse model by regulating the crosstalk between Nrf2 and NF-κB signaling pathway

Fig. 7

hPMSCs upregulate Nrf2 expression by inhibiting NF-κB levels in the nucleus of CD4+IL-10+ T cells. CD4+IL-10+ T cells were induced, using the naive CD4+ T cells treated with or without the Nrf2 inhibitor ML385 for 12 h, and then naive CD4+ T cells were cultured with or without hPMSCs. The cells and the nuclear and cytoplasmic proteins were collected for analysis after 3 days. a Immunofluorescence (IF) assays were performed to determine the expression of Nrf2 and NF-κB in the nucleus of CD4+IL-10+ T cells in the differentiation system in a different group in vitro. b WB was performed to determine the expression of Nrf2 and NF-κB in the nucleus of CD4+IL-10+ T cells in the differentiation system in a different group in vitro. The results were obtained from three independent experiments, *P < 0.05, **P < 0.01
