Characterisation of human dental pulp stem cells (hDPSCs). Cell surface expression of CD105, CD29, CD146, CD90, stromal precursor antigen (STRO-1), and CD34 was determined using flow cytometry (A); most of the cells express the KI67 marker (B); and exhibit a spindle-shaped morphology (C). In vitro multi-lineage differentiation potential of hDPSCs into adipocytes as identified by Oil-Red O staining (D) and osteocytes as identified by Alizarin Red S staining (E) is demonstrated after 2 weeks of culture in appropriate induction media.
