Minimal criteria for MSC characterization. MSCs are plastic-adherent and spindle-shaped morphology, they must be capable to differentiate into adipocytes, chondroblasts, and osteoblasts in vitro, and MSCs must be positive for surface antigen markers (CD29, CD73, CD90, CD44, and CD105) and they must lack expression of antigen markers (CD31, CD14, CD34, CD45), and costimulatory molecules (CD80, CD86), and HLA-DR surface molecules
