RT-PCR: Relative gene expression of differentiated cells derived from 3 donors. At the end of the differentiation protocol, all the relevant pancreatic endocrine genes were expressed. These included genes encoding endocrine hormones (INS, GCG, SST), genes encoding transcription factors (PDX1, NES, MAFA, MAFB, NEUROD1, RFX6, NGN3, PAX4, ESRR ɣ) and genes encoding pancreatic enzymes (GCK, GLUT-2).
