a Tri-lineage differentiation potential of hLMSCs cultured in SM and control medium. Control represents undifferentiated cells. Adipogenic differentiation was identified by the formation of oil droplets stained by Oil Red O stain. Chondrogenic differentiation had glycosaminoglycans stained by an acidic stain, Alcian Blue. Osteogenic differentiation was identified as a large number of calcium deposits stained by Alizarin Red stain. hLMSCs cultured in both the medium showed a significant amount of tri-lineage differentiation; b graph of quantification of tri-lineage differentiation of hLMSCs into osteocytes, adipocytes and chondrocytes. The respective stains were eluted, and the intensity of colour was measured using a spectrophotometer. Both the media supported tri-lineage differentiation to an approximately equal extent. Control represents undifferentiated cells. Data are represented as mean ± SD (n = 3)
