The cell sheets were detached from the temperature-responsive dish at a temperature below 20 °C (B panel a) and lifted using forceps (B panel b). H & E staining revealed the existence of 4–5 cell layers with an average thickness of 100–150 µm (C; scale bar = 200 µm).
