Heatmap representing Prdx5, Nfe2l2, and VEGFa gene expression in normoxic and hyperoxic samples, based on qRT-PCR results. ΔCq values are presented. A higher Cq value implies a lower gene expression. The anti-oxidant genes Prdx5 and Nfe2l2 were differentially upregulated in hyperoxic samples (p = 0.0175 for Prdx5 expression, p = 0.0298 for Nfe2l2 expression). VEGFa was downregulated following hyperoxia exposure (p < 0.0001)
